My Experience seeing Iron Maiden

Karl

On 21st June, I was able to see Iron Maiden at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom and through this blog article you’ll find out what my experience there was like.

My Experience seeing Iron Maiden

To begin with, I entered the stage room at about 7 PM that night. I did feel some level of anxiety about how many people there would be but I was able to find a decently spacious area while waiting. I initially got a standing ticket as that’s the first I saw, but I’d definitely advise getting a seated ticket for a reason I’ll explain soon.

To begin with, there was a supporting act that performed before Iron Maiden. And I think it’s fair to say that I’m now also a fan of The Raven Age.

After The Raven Age stopped playing, there was a break before Iron Maiden started performing. I will say though, the wait was worth it in every sense of the phrase. I got to listen to some classic hits of theirs like Phantom of the Opera and Run to the Hills, as well as 9 other songs of theirs. While I didn’t recognise a couple of the songs, they were all brilliant and I’d definitely recommend going again! Now, onto the reason I suggested getting a seated ticket instead of a standing ticket. My experience ended with myself having to leave early as my feet were getting way too tired to stay until the end. While I was present for 11 of their songs, it’s unfortunate that I missed some of the remaining songs, such as Wasted Years and Fear of the Dark. If I ever get the opportunity to see them a second time though, I will and this time I’ll be sure to stay until the end! So, there you have it. My experience of seeing Iron Maiden perform live.
