My travel in Turkey. In October 2023 and August 2004 I had a great experience driving from Anamur to Ankara and back. In October we had the opportunity to see Çankaya, which is the city centre. Walking was a good experience. The driving in the city was easy. Shopping in Ankara is definitely much cheaper. You get quality items for much affordable prices; from clothing to jewellery. People in Ankara are helpful. We had an incident with the car and had help getting the car to a repair place easily. We were worried about the costs but people there don’t try to cheat and charge you a lot of money. On our second trip we visited the King Midas’s tomb and the city. It was enchanting. Passing the uncovered cities felt like being in that time. Museums in Turkey always give a real life experience. Driving back to Anamur, passing the cliffs, going through the tunnels were good however driving around the mountains was difficult as I was already very tired and sleepless from the whole trip. I recommend having more than one driver and good company in the car.
