Forgot to mention that you can obtain a museum card to visit every museum in Turkey. Some are not included but we used it for the ones in Kind Midas’s tomb, Cappadocia (Kapadokya) underground cities, and other museums in Ankara. It’s 60 Turkish Lira for citizens of Turkey. It takes 12 hours to drive from south to Ankara and extra hour to Polatlı where the museums were. Kapadokya is another city that must be seen. Underground cities in there are best to visit early in the morning otherwise you will get stuck in tourist groups, which is not advisable. There are bakeries open very early in the morning. We had delicious bread and cheese.
